Mark passed his kendo 5th Dan examination in 2022 and is a British Kendo Association Level 1 coach.
Mark started kendo in 2008 while studying at the University of York. Since then he has trained at several kendo clubs around the UK before moving to Salisbury. Mark founded Salisbury kendo club in June 2021 to bring kendo to Salisbury and the surrounding area.
